Frances James Dinger is a writer and textile artist living in Seattle. Their work has appeared in Autostraddle, Catapult, Identity Theory, The Seattle Review of Books, and Vol. 1 Brooklyn, among other places. For five years, they were a co-director of APRIL Festival, an annual celebration of independent literature in Seattle that featured sold-out unconventional literary events and a small-press book fair. Their art quilts have been shown in galleries in Seattle. Frances is a Tin House Summer Workshop alum. They are currently completing a to-be-announced nonfiction title for Boss Fight Books.
